CAT-ference 2023 will take place at The House of Nature, which opened its doors in 2015, being the first stage project of the University of Latvia’s development of the new Academic Centre in Riga. The building is designed to create equal opportunities for every user of the building, and provides students, staff and guests of the university with 30 auditoriums, 45 student training laboratories and 69 research laboratories.

Today, The House of Nature is home of the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, the Faculty of Chemistry, the Faculty of Biology, the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, and the Institute of Chemical Physics.

The House of Nature is located at Jelgavas iela 1, Riga, LV-1004, which is easily accessible from any part of the city by a bus or tram.
